El Salvador has a big Mayan heritage. The Salvadorean Mayan Tour starts with a visit to Joya de Ceren, which is the only UNESCO protected site in El Salvador. We will visit the museum and see the 11 structures visible to the visitors. You can see the only Mayan Sauna found in El Salvador and then enter a replica of it to have a feel of the Mayan Culture. Then We visit San Andres, which is a well preserved site where we can walk over the Noble's Acropolis. Then we drive one hour to see the biggest pyramid in El Salvador, Tazumal...which is basically a big Mayan Temple where kings were buried. Then we move to Casa Blanca where you can see less preserved structures and a very interesting museum. The tour can be customized to the clients interest and we can visit Lago Coatepeque or Ruta de las Flores instead of any of the ruins.
